Welcoming, fully renovated 140 sq. m. fisherman’s house in the charming port of Portivy, in Saint-Pierre-Quiberon. Only 300 meters from the beach and port. Ocean view. Garden with heated swimming pool. Four bedrooms. Can accommodate up to 8 people. You’re sure to get plenty of authentic Breton atmosphere and R&R in this cute and comfortable fisherman’s house situated a step away from the pretty little port of Portivy, part of Saint-Pierre-Quiberon. A top tourist destination in Brittany, the Quiberon peninsula has over 30 kilometers of coastline. Famous for its beautiful, long stretches of beaches, it’s one of the most prized vacation spots in the region. The house is a real village house, adjoining another on one side. In this peaceful setting with a view of the sea, you’ll be able to take full advantage of the outdoor facilities: enjoy lunch or dinner on the sunny terrace, relax in the heated swimming pool or simply chill out in one of the deckchairs. The children will also love the pool and all the equipment set up especially for them – a trampoline, swing, basketball hoop, and table football. As for the house itself, the large, bright living/dining area opening directly onto the terrace guarantees both conviviality and comfort. The four bedrooms are all practical and particularly well designed for family living. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom. Set out on foot from the house to explore the coastal paths of the famous “Cote Sauvage”, the small charming beaches and savor the unique ambiance typical of Portivy’s fishing port. Ground floor:• Entrance hall leading to the kitchen• Fully equipped kitchen, communicating with the living room• Large living room with lounge and dining area opening on to the terrace• Bedroom 1: queen size bed, ensuite shower room - shower and toiletsUpper floor:• Bedroom 2: double (140 cm) bed• Bedroom 3 : 90 cm twin beds• Bedroom 4 : 2 bunk beds + 1 trundle bed• Bathroom - bathtub• ToiletsA plancha barbecue is available. There is a free public car park 50 meters from the house.Linens, sheets, and towels are provided. The beds will be freshly made on arrival. Weekly housekeeping is included with the rental, along with cleaning on departure. You will find toiletries in the bathrooms and a gourmet food basket in the kitchen. Optional services are available upon request at reservation. The house is ideally situated in a small street near the port of Portivy, an authentic Breton fishing village. There’s a supermarket only 200 meters from the house that sells freshly-made bread every morning. The “Cote Sauvage” and little beaches are just a stone’s throw away from the house. 300 meters down the road, you’ll find the beach of Fozo and the little port of Portivy, with its 4 waterfront restaurants where you can dine and enjoy the magnificent sunsets. The larger beaches are just 5-10 minutes away by car. Quiberon offers a wide range of marine-related activities: lovely walks along the coast, deep-sea fishing expeditions, sailing, sand yachting, sea kayaking and kite-surfing. The peninsula is undoubtedly one of the best surfing spots in Brittany. The “Grande Randonnée” hiking path makes its way around the peninsula, offering a fabulous show, and a network of cycling routes crisscrosses the entire area.Another must-see is the lle de Thinic, which you can get to at low tide from the Port, and where you can visit a Celtic burial ground. The Auray train station is 25 kilometers away. From there, you can hop on the “tire-bouchon” or “corkscrew”, a little regional train that, in season, will take all the way to the peninsula. The Nantes and Rennes airports are each about a two-hour drive away.
