Deauville Le Coteau
Deauville is full of towns more beautiful than the others. Each one is rich in recreation, cultural and historical patrimony, sheltering archaic residences to such an extent that the city and its architecture plunge us into the Neo-Norman era as soon as one sets foot. But the one that stands out the most in the seaside resort is the district of Le Coteau.
Perched on Mount Canisy, it was once a vast swamp that extended to the sea. Only inhabited by a hundred people in 1921, the place was beginning to be abandoned. As a result, the Duke of Morny took the initiative to renovate it to build a development zone. Subsequently, Le Coteau became a residential neighborhood.
Indeed, residential area built in a sumptuous and serene setting, it is the ideal place to recharge and escape away from the traffic, the uproar of the city, the stress of the suburbs and the torments of life daily. Le Coteau is a destination, therefore, perfect for holidays with family, friends or couples.
Despite the fact that Deauville le Coteau is free of commerce, recreation centers and businesses, today it is distinguished from the other quarters of the seaside city by its modern houses, its pavilions, its luxury apartments, its villas with swimming pool and its social housing flourishing on the premises.
For a long or short stay in Normandy, mainly in the commune of Deauville, therefore, retain the address of this haven of peace. This village that combines rustic and modern is surrounded only by green space. Not to mention that it offers a breathtaking view of its surroundings. But to enjoy a panoramic view of the entire coast, do not forget to stroll near the Saint Laurent chapel of Deauville.
